This Years Race
May 19, 2012 at 8am on 24th Street. Hot laps begin at 7am. We will have an second assembly class April 25 at 7pm at The Boy Scout Troop 80 on the corner of BELLAIRE and Plains BLVD between WESTERN and BELL. The Official weigh in will be MAY 5th at 10am at the Boy Scout Troop 80 on the corner of BELLAIRE and Plains BLVD between WESTERN and BELL.
Last Years Race The entry fee was $20 and there were two divisions in this double elimination race. The Winning Drivers qualified to go to Akron Ohio to represent Amarillo in the Championships. The Special Event this year was be celebrity barrel racing. WINNERS: Super Stock:

Super Stock Division: The Super Stock division is designed for racers age 10-17 years old. Super Stock cars can accommodate a larger racer up to (Approximately) 6'0" tall and 150 pounds. The Super Stock, a lean-forward designed car, is also sold as a kit which includes everything needed for racing with the exception of Z-Glas racing wheels and weights. Builders should allow 4-6 hours to assemble their Super Stock division car. |

Stock Division: The
Stock division is for racers age 8-10 years old. Stock cars can
accommodate a racer up to (Approximately) 5'3" tall and 125 pounds. The
Stock car, a lean-forward design, is sold as a kit which includes
everything needed for racing with the exception of Z-Glas racing wheels
and weights. Because painting is not permitted on the Stock car shell,
drivers have their choice of purchasing one of three colored shells:
red or white. Builders should allow 4-6 hours to assemble their
Stock division car.
